The Firm. Loretta Nolan Associates, LLC is a fee-only financial advisory firm located in Old Greenwich, CT. The firm's mission is to act as a client advocate, to assist in building and preserving client wealth and helping to make sense of the financial information overload many feel today. Loretta Nolan is a strong believer in the objectivity that feeonly planning provides. The firm does not sell products or receive commissions of any kind and will work with clients' other advisors to implement a financial plan.
Services. Services include comprehensive financial planning, income tax planning, executive compensation planning, employee benefits consulting, and investment consulting. Loretta Nolan Associates also provides survivor planning services to assist those facing life-changing financial issues such as divorce, death of a spouse, or loss of a job.
The President. Loretta Nolan was recognized as one of Connecticut's Five Star Wealth Managers in the December 2020 issue of Connecticut Magazine and was recognized in the December 2019, 2018, 2017 and 2016 issues of Connecticut Magazine for this honor as well. She was also named a Top 100 Wealth Manager for 2012 by AdvisorOne, and Top Wealth Manager for 2011 and 2010, a distinction awarded for three consecutive years. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPF A). She is a past president of the Estate Planning Council of Lower Fairfield County and a member of Connections, a community leadership organization in Greenwich, CT. She is also an emeritus member of the Professional Advisor's Council of the Fairfield County Community Foundation. She lectures on retirement planning and separation package issues to corporations and outplacement firms and has lectured at Iona College. Loretta Nolan received her Certified Financial Planner™ designation from Adelphi University and is an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP).
Media Recognition. Loretta Nolan serves as a source of expertise to the media on a broad range of money matters. She has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Consumer Reports, Parade, Kiplinger's Personal Finance and Money magazines and has written a column on personal finance for Greenwich Time.
